The pyramid's steel-clad face rising over the entrance porch

Heram Al Noor

About

A 30-acre Texas Hill Country retreat center near Wimberley: a 40-foot ceremony pyramid, a natural chemical-free stone pool and hot tub, a cedar wood-burning sauna, and lodging for groups of all sizes.

Tucked into 30 acres of Texas Hill Country just outside Wimberley, Heram Al Noor, meaning "Pyramid of Divine Light", holds space the way old land does: quietly, generously, and with a little bit of magic. Ancient live oaks lean out over a natural stone pool built entirely from rock found on the property. A 40-foot ceremonial pyramid rises out of the canopy like something half-discovered, half-built for exactly this purpose. Cedar smoke drifts from a wood-burning sauna tucked into the trees. And from the rooftop deck of our tallest lodge, the Hill Country rolls out in every direction for miles.

This isn't a resort. It's a working retreat property, shaped over years by hand, stone by stone and board by board, for people who come here to slow down, go inward, and reconnect. Whether you're leading a group ceremony in the pyramid, soaking chemical-free under the stars, sweating it out in the sauna, or just watching the sun set from a hilltop porch, the land does most of the work.

Room for every kind of gathering

Heram Al Noor offers a range of places to stay, from simple glamping cabins to a full three-room lodge with panoramic views, so retreats of nearly any size can find their footing here: together, but each with their own quiet corner to return to.

The property is ideal for hosting conscious group retreats, wellness intensives, and small weddings: the pyramid, natural pool, and open-air gathering spaces lend themselves naturally to ceremony, celebration, and connection.

The story of the land

The land carries a longer story than ours. The pyramid was raised by hand over years of slow work, and the mission it was built for continues under our care. The full story is in the Almanac: Old Land, Held Quietly.
